About the Forum
The Christopher Davidson Forum for Brain Tumor Research was established by Joanne and Charles F. Knight and their family in 2016. Chris grew up in St. Louis and attended the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 1978. He went on to serve his country as a nuclear submariner before joining Ameren UE, where he worked until 2014. Chris obtained an MBA from Washington University in 1999. Ten years later, Chris was diagnosed with a glioblastoma. After more than four years of treatment, Chris passed away in 2014.
This forum is recognized as one of the best scientific venues for international and national brain tumor experts to discuss their research and drive future progress. Washington University is honored to play a part in maintaining the legacy of Christopher Davidson.
